The institute has been established as per G.O(MS) No. 134/2012/Labour dated 15-09-2012.
The training has been started on 1st January 2013 in the trades Draughtsman Civil & DeskTop Publishing Operator.
As per G.O(P) No. 346/2013/Labour, the ITI changed as General and the name of ITI has been changed as 'GOVT. ITI IDUKKI-KANJIKUZHY' This Institute has been officially inaugurated by Sri. Shibu Baby John, respected Minister of Labour & Rehabilitation, Kerala, on 26-09-2013.
